We are so excited to bring to you our band, Glam Funk! A high-energy party band of zany musicians who love to entertain and make your next event memorable for years to come. Playing hits from the disco 70s to current dance floor faves, your guests are sure to be left on a high! Our show is all about sequins, sparkle, and a lot of fun and we love requests should you be planning your special wedding dance!

What was the journey that brought you to what you do?

Glam Funk Band was realized through a collaboration of like-minded musicians with many years of performing experience both in Australia as well as overseas. We saw a gap in the market here in Perth so our main goal was to form a band that brought a bit of sparkle and fun to WA! Danielle Pascoe, the founder of Glam Funk has had many years of performing experience. She has sung to audiences in Australia, Asia, the USA, and the Middle East, so she knows how to get the crowd up dancing! Being a frustrated Drag Queen, she brings color and pizzazz to the stage leaving audiences on a high. We sincerely love what we do and we can’t wait to make your event sparkle!

What’s behind your success?

We would say that our success has come from true friendship and respect between our band members. We really enjoy performing with each other on stage and our infectious chemistry is felt by our audience members. We are professional, respectful, and understand the needs of each client.

What’s a mistake you’ve made that you’ll never make again?

Of course, we all make mistakes as individuals, but as a band, we have been pretty lucky to make informed decisions that have in turn led to our success. We are ALWAYS learning though!

What do you love about working in the wedding industry?

We feel so privileged to be able to work alongside our happy couples to make their day one that will never be forgotten. It is a great honor for us to make their event stand out and we hope to make many more couples have the best day of their lives for years to come! We know that no wedding is the same and welcome that challenge with open arms! It’s an exciting place to be!

What are your predictions for the industry for the next few years?

We think the next years in the industry will be exciting! Now that the world has some freedom back, we can’t wait to see the imagination and diverse ideas from brides to be as well as the wonderful things that people in the industry will be offering their clients.

What’s the one secret about your field or industry you wish everyone knew?

Often couples are unnecessarily stressed on their big day. Our secret would be that no matter what happens, you can’t anticipate what will happen on an actual day. Any ideas of how the day will play out may turn out differently. So take a breath, trust the people around you, put on your best smile, and enjoy your special day. It will ALL BE OK!
